Daniel Wend, Founder, CEO

A lifelong artist, illustrator, and photographer, Dan Wend has also built a corporate marketing career - part of which was spent marketing digital printers and working in the design and printing industry. His knowledge of design, as well as printing, inks, substrates, and imaging, combined with his large art and photo collection, made Image Screens the logical convergeance of his passions, talents, and career experience. He looks at each image as a creative expression, and personally helps produce, or signs off on every print, product, or project.

Numerous people and companies are behind the scenes (or screens) at Image Screens. Printing companies that specialize in flatbed or dye-sublimation fabric printing, consultants helping refine products, assemblers, lumber suppliers, hardware suppliers, and shipping companies all play a role in producing and selling Image Screen's products.

Many of these products incorporate reproductions of Daniel Wend's art and photography. Each piece is hand-built at the Image Screens studio in South Seattle, and each piece is made to order, with no standing inventory.

Image screens are constructed from high-quality, hand-selected cedar, hemlock, and fir. Our images are printed on an assortment of high-quality canvas, vinyl, cloth, or plexiglas using high-res wide-format printers for the best color reproduction possible. We use saturated, light-fast and color-fast inks printed on high-end digital printers, and dye-sub printing when printing onto cloth. UV flatbed printers are used when we print on rigid substrates. UV printing delivers great image quality, long image life and maximum durability.

These unique products include: wall murals, art screens, room dividers, accent lighting, study screens, and architectural design elements for residential, office, or commercial spaces and events.

Hand Crafted Quality

All Image Screens products are individually built by hand, using the best available materials and hardware. All printed images are created with durable, fade resistant pigmented inks, on a variety of print-receptive materials.
